SWR & Tuner Simulator
Adjust a matching network by hand and watch the standing wave on the feedline collapse as the match improves.
Educational simulation. This model uses a simplified physical approximation. Treat the figures as an illustration of the principle, not as a prediction for a real installation. Real antennas must be built and sited in accordance with local regulations and the instructions for the equipment.
Static reference view
The interactive model needs WebGL, which this browser is not providing. The reference drawing below shows the same arrangement.
What it teaches
- What a standing wave actually looks like on a mismatched feedline.
- Why a tuner changes the match at the transmitter but not on the line.
- How capacitance and inductance interact and why tuning is iterative.
- Why a narrow-band antenna is harder to match at the band edges.

Performance and access
The 3D library loads only on this page, never on the home page or the reference pages. If WebGL is unavailable the tool falls back to a static reference drawing with the same parameters. On a small screen the static view is shown first, with a button to load the interactive version. Reduced-motion preferences stop automatic rotation and animation.
